We are members of a nondenominational, evangelical church, serving our
Almighty God, accepted by Him through faith in Jesus Christ - the King
of Kings and Lord of Lords, who gave His life for us.
Dan's a sweet, athletic, humorous (and handsome!) man who loves the Lord. He was in the Air Force and now is a software engineer as a government contractor, specializing in web design, development, and graphics. He loves remodeling our home, boating, and spending time with the family
Bonnie is a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom. We've been together now for 20 years - married for 18, and are the grateful parents of two wonderful girls. You can meet 'Kitty' (her online name) here.
We started this site
in January 2004 for Kitty and Bonnie to share their creative thoughts
and works, to encourage our sisters-in-Christ, and grow in our own walk
with the Lord. It has been wonderful, we have met many terrific ladies
and have learned a lot through them all.
Bonnie earned her Bachelors in Sociology and English from Old Dominion
University (in Virginia) and also has taken graduate classes in Public
Administration. She worked in various jobs over the years: she co-owned
and managed two pizza delivery restaurants; worked as a counselor for
teens with chemical dependency and abusive tendencies; edited the military
base paper under the base commander; and worked in a military hospital
to evaluate and treat child and spouse abuse. She also has many years
of experience as a licensed daycare provider; as a Girl Scout leader;
an AWANA leader; a Sunday School Teacher; and is her currently her church
homeschool co-op coordinator. She enjoys teaching her girls at home, and
building and maintaining this site.
