Could She?

She walked around
Finding what love could be found
While she was bound
By her fears
And she was drowned
By her tears
Could she be loved?
Could she be loved?
Could she?

She couldn’t see everything
Only the now
Only felt pain, because she didn’t know

There was something bigger out there for her
There was someone to adore her
But she couldn’t see past what she could explain
Jesus was calling her name
But she didn’t hear, didn’t draw near
Could she hear Him shout her name?
Could she hear Him shout her name?

She walked around
Finding what love could be found
While she was bound
By her fears
And she was drowned
By her tears
Could she be loved?
Could she be loved?
Could she?

She was running fast and hard
To keep from lies and scars
As she feel down deeper, away from Who could keep her
She wanted to go back, but she couldn’t get back
Could she? Could she? Could she?

She walked around
Finding what love could be found
While she was bound
By her fears
And she was drowned
By her tears
Could she be loved?
Could she be loved?
Could she?

He could wipe away
Ever tear from her eyes
But could she ever realize?
She was made for so much more
Jesus opened up another door
If only she could go through
Could she? Could she? Could she?

She only wanted to be loved, she only wanted to be loved
She walked around
Finding what love could be found
But could she see
What Jesus wanted her to be?
Could she? Could she? Could she?

She came to a stop, fell on her knees
And cried out, “Jesus please! Save me! Save me!”
She needed love, needed it from above
She found Jesus, she found Jesus

She had someone to tell
Who walked around
Finding what love could be found
But would she tell?
Would she? Would she? Would she?
