This is a page dedicated to our animals that either went to 'pet Heaven,' or we had to say goodbye to for other reasons.

We miss you!

This was my sister's pet Beta Fish. Betas are also refered to as Japanese Fighting Fish. His name was Six. We had him two years. We couldn't get him a friend because they would not be able to stay in the same tank without fighting. My sister had gotten him as an early birthday present. He really liked his fish food, and toy fish we put in his tank. He never did much, but he always got really excited whenever his food container was shaken.

This was my gerbil named Katie. She never bit me, only nibbled on my finger. We got her the same time as we had gotten Jen. We had gotten her from the Animal Control also. I loved her a lot. She was very sweet, and she let you hold her for a little while, then she just jumped out of your hand. She could chew really fast, and she could work almost as fast as a paper shredder! If you filled her cage up with mail and other things for her to chew, she would be done shredding them by the end of the day. Once, the lid was off the cage, and she almost jumped out!! She also liked to climb. She liked to sleep a lot, and eat carrots, and popcorn. She died April 2005. R.I.P., Katie.

This was my sister's Gerbil, her name was Jennifer. We called her Jen. We didn't even know Jennifer meant 'white one', until after we had gotten her. We had gotten her a few years ago. She was rescued from the Animal Control. We really loved her. She liked sunflower seeds the most, and pellets. She could chew really fast, and she liked to chew toilet paper rolls, and their food bowl. She was a really good jumper. She had a few odd habits but it's okay. She was cute anyway. She died 2/9/05.

This was my bird Summer. He is a Cockatiel. We got him 4/21/04. We loved him very much. We had just trained him to like fingers instead of heads! My friend found him when she went to the grocery store and he landed on her head and gave him to us. We got him a cockatiel friend. I don't think they liked each other too much, but they lived in the same cage, and got along pretty well. He liked to climb, and eat. He could say 'Hello' and do the 'catcall'. He liked it if you blew on him, he'd spread out his wings and look like he's surfing! He also did the same if you squirt him with a water spray bottle. We had to get rid of them because they made my mom's head feel like a bowling ball. We got rid of him 5/3/05. You are much missed the way you said "Hello!" every time we walked in the room! We hope you're in a nice home now, with a family who loves you.

This was my other Cockatiel. Her name is Spring. She was hand fed as a baby, so we could handle her a little easier than Summer. They both made beautiful whistles. She could say 'Hello' do the 'catcall' and do our phone, our microwave, our oven beep, and my name. You could tell them apart because girls are a little more dull in color than the boys, and they have different personalities. We had gotten her on 5/1/04. We loved her a lot and she was very nice. Her favorite food was the inside of sunflower seeds. She liked to play with small pet toys, and have her head rubbed. Once she pulled out all of her tail feathers, but they grew back. We had to get rid of them because they made my mom's head feel like a bowling ball. We got rid of her 5/3/05. You are much missed the way you said "Hello!" every time we walked in the room, rang every time the phone did, and called my name every time Mom did! We hope you're in a nice home now, with a family who loves you.

This was the fishpond at our old house. I miss little ole Marlin! He's the fishie in this pic. He used to play peek-a-boo with me. Seriously.
