'Twas the Night Before the Christ Came
The story of Jesus

I was inspired while writing this book by Cece Winans song "Alabaster Box:"

"I've come to pour my praise on Him like oil from Mary's alabaster box
Don't be angry if I wash his feet with my tears and I dry them with my hair
You weren't there the night He found me, you did not feel what I felt when He wrapped His love all around me and you don't know the cost of the oil in my alabaster box..."

Such a beautiful song, and it was exactly how I felt.
I began to pour out my praise in worship to my Lord Jesus Christ.
I worked for two years hand painting pictures by computer of the Christmas story. I used the same type of software that is used in making Disney movies, and during that time I also worked on the text, a poem in contrast to the popular secular Chrismas story.

'Twas the night before the Christ came and the shepherds out in the field,
tended to their flocks, when suddenly, an angel of the Lord was revealed…
