Call your doctor if your baby or child has any of these warning signs
- FEVER:
BABIES: call your doctor if your baby has a temperature of 101°F or higher
CHILDREN: call your doctor if your child
has a fever of 103°F or higher.
- Constant vomiting or diarrhea
- Dry mouth
- Earache or pulling at ears
- Fever comes and goes over several days
- High-pitched crying
- Irritability
- No appetite
- Pale appearance
- Seizures
- Severe headache or sensitivity to bright lights
- Skin rash
- Purple rash that doesn’t fade when the bottom of a glass is pressed against it
- Sore or swollen joints
- Sore throat
- Stiff neck
- Stomach pain
- Swelling of the soft spot on an infant’s head
- Drowsiness and confusion
- Lethargy, limpness, floppiness, or unresponsiveness
- Wheezing
- Problems breathing - breathing too fast, shallow
- Whimpering
Anything else that has you worried!! Trust your gut.
