About us

Thanks for stopping in to meet us! Dan and Bonnie have been married 20 years and have two wonderful daughters.

We desire for the Lord Jesus to be glorified in all we do, say and post. We depend on the Lord for His salvation, guidance, power, deliverance, and victory. He alone can raise the dead to life, make beauty from ashes, and turn darkness into life!

It is our desire for this site to encourage all who enter to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" 2Peter 3:18. One day, my children may move away or something could happen to me... and I would hope that this site would be a source of strength to my daughters to help them to be strong in the Lord and in His love. And so, with that in mind (hopefully nothing will happen to me and they will live right next door!) my desire is for it to provide that to other young women who need encouragement in the truth of the Lord's love for them. And our forums provide a source of community and wisdom where we can all love and support one another... through and for Him.

We are members of a nondenominational, evangelical church. You can meet 'Kitty' (her online name) here.

Dan was in the Air Force and now is a software engineer, specializing in web design, development, and graphics. Bonnie is a case manager for the department of social services after 12 years as a stay-at-home mom. Our oldest daughter is combining her last year of homeschool with her first year of college, and our youngest is still homeschooling.

Bonnie and the girls have a passion for reading, writing, photography, gardening, and Bible study. Bonnie has written and illustrated 'Twas the Night before the Christ Came, and she and the girls are working on several others.

Bonnie and Dan are not perfect, we don't have the answers to everything, but we believe there is One who is and does. We understand completely the temptations, struggles, sins, and selfishness that attacks relationships. We are committed to one another and to Christ, and to serving and knowing Him.
